			The Football Association introduced Mini-Soccer in September 1999. The FA deems Mini-Soccer the most appropriate and fun introduction to football for boys and girls. Essentially it means smaller pitches, smaller goals and fewer players on each team. This further means that all players get more touches on the ball and are therefore able to develop football skills more quickly. WHO IS IT FOR? Old Town United have teams entered into the league at Under 8 (Year 3) through to Under 10 (Year 5). Children 5 years and over are encouraged to come along and train with occasional friendly matches organised to prepare them for league football at Under 8 level.
